If you’re looking for something to eat, drink and free entertainment, head down to the new Street Eat event coming to Rochdale Town Hall Square on 27 and 28 May.
Tasty food from the town’s restaurant chefs will be served over the Bank Holiday Weekend, with dozens of mouth-watering dishes at £3 each, including Spanish, Italian, English, German, American and more.
There will also be activities and rides for the children, a bar for the adults and live entertainment for everyone throughout both days.
Mark Foxley from Rochdale Town Centre Management, who is organising the event with support from Rochdale Borough Council said:
“The vendors will be from Rochdale town centre eateries, which proves how much talent there is locally. The sights, sounds, the smells and of course the tastes will make for an unmissable two days on every foodie’s calendar. It’s family-friendly – you’ll be able to buy and try as many small dishes as you like, and enjoy them in a great atmosphere.”
Street food traders will be selling an array of delicious food alongside a bar and live entertainment. Traders include: La Mancha, Cocka Doodle Moo, The Clock Tower Dining Room, Vicolo de Vino, The Flying Horse Hotel, Java and more.
Admission is free. For more on the line-up visit www.rochdale.gov.uk/events and search #StreetEatRoch on Twitter.
