I do! Rochdale Wedding Show returns for 2016
Couples planning to tie the knot should head to Rochdale Town Hall on Sunday 9 October as Rochdale Wedding Show returns for 2016.
Promising everything you need to organise your perfect wedding with the help of the region’s finest suppliers, the day will feature a breath-taking catwalk show and over 60 experts specialising in everything from stunning dresses and cakes to classic cars and entertainment.
Last year’s event, organised by Rochdale Borough Council, saw more than 400 brides and grooms attend the show with their friends and families and 50 local companies exhibiting.
Another very special day is being planned for 2016. Event manager Sue Milne said: “Rochdale Wedding Show will be another fabulous showcase for some wonderful local companies and a great day out for brides and grooms, their friends and families. Visitors will get the chance to take afternoon tea in our new Clock Tower Dining Room, see our register office, view the ceremony room and take a town hall tour. The Grade I-listed town hall is always a popular wedding venue and its picturesque gardens are the perfect backdrop for the all-important photos, so it’s a perfect location for the show.”
Councillor Janet Emsley, the council’s cabinet member for culture, health and wellbeing, said: “We were really pleased with the response to last year’s show and there was a fantastic atmosphere. It’s also a great opportunity for local businesses, with orders on the day in 2015 running into tens of thousands.”
